In the safe coaching cocoon, I ask my clients powerful questions and challenge limiting beliefs. This is a place to unblock obstacles that are holding you back and give you the tools to discover your limitless potential. We access guidance from your intuition, get clear about your values and priorities, and create a meaningful action plan that is tailored to you.

About Me

Hi, I'm Priya! I'm a Nurse Coach and Nurse Practitioner. I believe that we are all capable of optimal wellness if we create the space to discover what that actually looks like and work to make that happen in our lives. Becoming a Nurse Coach has been a huge part of my own transformative health journey. After working as an NP at a busy community clinic for several years, I felt tired, burned out, stressed, and I kept getting sick. I felt like my health was the worst it had ever been, while ironically I was helping people to improve their health on a daily basis. I realized that health and wellness for me, meant making big and small changes. I decided to reach out for help. I decided to learn more about coaching. I decided that I was worth more and I deserved to live a fulfilling life full of abundance and wellness. And so I took action. And that is how we change our lives. 

Outside of coaching, I enjoy spending time with my two amazing kids and partner, traveling, speaking Spanish & French, reading all kinds of books, spending time outdoors, and doing activities that expand my heart and mind!

Prior to working with Priya I had been suffering from high levels of stress that was causing both physical and mental discomfort. I was feeling stuck in this cycle of stress and was having trouble finding my way out. Embarking on the coaching journey with Priya was an exciting step for me. I worked hard to carve out space and time in my life to try and reflect on some of the challenges I was experiencing. It was great to be able to talk openly to Priya. She is warm and welcoming and provided a wonderful balance of structure to our sessions as well as room for choice and flexibility. She challenged me to ask hard questions of myself and incorporate new habits into my life in order to help manage some of my stress. It felt great to have a sounding board and guide, as well as gain new tools and activities to incorporate into my life. I greatly enjoyed the assignments she gave me, the timing in between sessions to hold me accountable, and the reflecting we did together. I also really benefited from some of the guided meditation and relaxation techniques she helped me use in order to ground me into each session. She kept detailed notes and provided a follow up summary which helped to remind me of what we worked on. I would highly recommend working with her especially if you are looking for a holistic approach to any challenges you are facing!

Before I started working with Priya, I was re-entering the workforce after a 9 month leave of absence in which I was caring for my terminally ill husband.  I was anxious about how I would balance going back to work with continuing to care for my husband, myself, and our home. Working with Priya has helped me prioritize the important things, let go of the unimportant things, and focus on my well being so that I can continue to be effective at work and compassionate at home!

I started working with Priya when I was around 9 months postpartum. I was struggling with thyroid and weight issues, work/life balance, and adapting to such a major life transition.  Priya was tremendously helpful. Priya was the first coach I ever had. She helped me at a time when I was recently unemployed and looking for a new direction in my career. I had become discouraged with what I was doing. I was feeling at loose ends of where I should work, while I was training to be a nurse coach. When I told her I wanted to work for myself from home, she helped me to gain insight on what I needed to do. She asked me many powerful questions while helping me set goals for myself. Thesegoals were around getting my office together so that I can be better focused while working. Other goals were how to take better care of myself now that I am not running around at work all day anymore. We spoke about healthy lifestyles, andhow to put in more time for exercise. Priya took me through a Guidance Activity, which allowed me to look at my futureself. This activity gave me the confidence I needed to move on. I felt comfortable talking with Priya as she held a safe nonjudgemental space for me. I found her to be professional, compassionate, caring, and easy to talk to. Priya was such an excellent coach! In the past I have not  had much  luck working with any kind of therapist or counselor, and as a result I have huge trust issues when it comes to that type of thing. When I  started working with Priya,  I knew that I wanted to make some significant changes in my life, and improve my over all wellness. All I was really sure of is that I wanted the changes to not only be significant, but lasting.  However, I really did not know exactly what needed to change. With Priya’s  guidance I was able to uncover, deep truths, discover new insights, and really  begin to make some significant changes.

I recently finished my very successful coaching with Priya Reddy. Before we worked together, I had been taking over the counter sleep aids nightly to get a decent night sleep. I

was mostly using Benadryl and ZzzQuil. I often worried about how the years of taking these drugs would affect my memory and if they might cause dementia. I was also convinced that

I wouldn’t be able to stop taking them. I felt very dependent and thought the only way I might get off of them would be to go “cold turkey.” I figured I would not sleep at first at all.

Because I care for children, I would not be able to work for the first week. This did not seem like a practical solution and also caused anxiety for me.

Priya gave me tools to help me prepare for sleep, such as limiting blue light and screens, using affirmations and meditation, listening to sleep stories and more. We talked about what was going on in my life when I started taking the sleep aids. I was a mom of three teenagers, and had a young foster baby. My ex husband and I were newly separated and my life was very busy. I was happy for making the decision to leave a bad marriage and I loved being a mom, but my life was hectic as we all tried to navigate our new life in a new home. I

was often stressed. We compared those days with my current life which has really slowed down, my children are adults with kids of their own and I’m in a happy marriage. I realized I

no longer needed the sleep aids and they had become a bad habit.

With Priya’s coaching and guidance, I was able to switch over to melatonin, zinc and magnesium and get off the sleep aids containing diphenhydramine. Also, it was a quick switch and much easier than expected. It helped so much to have Priya to talk to about it all. She has a very warm, calming and kind way of coaching and she is a very knowledgeable and caring person. I not only gained this new way of sleeping but I enjoyed our sessions very much. I also liked starting each session with a breathing exercise or meditation to get centered. I would absolutely recommend Priya as a couch. She is truly wonderful.
